End of Year Needs

As another year closes at Mulberry Acres Rescue, we want to extend our thanks to all those who donated their time and money toward helping parrots in need. Your contribution, no matter how small, greatly improves the lives of these birds. Thank you!

Here are the last two items on our wishlist that we would love to see provided for our flock for the end of year:

• Our last veterinarian bill of the year, totaling $960 to Cedar Creek Veterinary Clinic in Williamston, MI. This included exams for Benji, our African Gray battling severe bacterial infections, Sammy (a Goffin cockatoo, the newest flock member), and Yew, an African Gray growing abnormal feathers. • A pet dryer box: These are wonderful for drying special needs parrots after they have a shower. We have a few birds that need warmed after a shower for health and safety reasons, and this box would be a life saver for them!
